Physical and chemical properties of the Schmierstoffstick

Schmierstoffstick is a specially developed solid lubricant for industrial use, particularly in demanding environments such as cement works and rotary kilns. Thanks to its precisely balanced physical and chemical properties, this Schmierstoffstick is ideal for the controlled, clean and efficient lubrication of bearing rings and heavily loaded components.

The lubricant is in a solid state and is characterised by its brown colour and a neutral odour with no particular fumes. With a melting point of 125.6–132.8 °F (52–56 °C), the Schmierstoffstick is optimally designed to spread evenly at operating temperature without running uncontrollably. The paraffin content, with a flash point of over 100 °C, ensures a high level of operational safety.

Thanks to a density of 1.03 g/cm³, the lubricant stick offers excellent material stability. It is insoluble in water and therefore resistant to moisture, making it particularly durable and reliable in continuous operation. Properties such as vapour pressure, boiling point and pH value are not relevant or necessary for practical use, as the lubricant is designed exclusively for heavy-duty mechanical lubrication.
